Vehicle Detail
I discovered that I really don't know how to list a car for sale on eBay- that is why I took this down. Now it is back with better info/more pictures and clearer pricing. I will not go around eBay-don't ask! Once bidding opens I will not stop the sale. I am excited about the interest- the "300" people are watching! Additional Info: The convertible has all 4 hubcaps, has the wrong grille, ram set-up is complete but on a non-matching # motor. I am including what is supposedly the original motor. The 4 door '62 was driveable when stored (mid '90's) & the only damage to the body is the right front fender (extra right fender is included). The coupe parts car has front-end damage. There is no grille. Hood is chained shut, so I couldn't get pictures today. The chain was installed to protect the ram induction tubes once the carbs were stolen so I assume they are still there. (Reminder- no title for this car) Feel free to call with other questions, below is the original listing info. Do a little research and you will agree that this 300 is an investment! It needs a complete restoration, but it is basically all there. There is no obvious wreck damage, but it is rusty. This was a "barn find" in Illinois in the 90's. I brought it to a nice warm garage in Colorado and started gathering up parts for the restoration. I purchased (and now include in this sale) virtually every replacement part available at the time from Gary Goers. In mostly unopened boxes directly from Gary you will find all new leather interior/door panels/carpet/trunk trim & carpet/emblems/decals/rubber parts. If memory serves, I got every soft part needed except the convertible top itself. I can't guarantee what's there, since I never even opened most of the boxes- but you probably couldn't replace what's in those boxes today for 8-10 grand. I also located a nice '62 New Yorker 4 door. I have been garaging it for 15 years to preserve the perfect dash pad and to keep that front clip from deteriorating. (It has also been a great place to store all those boxes!) Donor car is also air conditioned so that could be added to the convertible if so desired (though not correct). Other handy parts like a spare engine/transmission, floor & trunk pans, power window motor etc etc are there for the taking. I also have a "G" coupe that is mostly all there but is nasty. I consider it a parts car- (no title for this one, but I have owned it for over 35 years).. Included in the sale: 1961 300 G Convertible (w/ extra 413 engine) 1962 New Yorker 4 door (complete car less tail lights I gave to an "H" owner) 1961 300 G Coupe Parts Car Multiple Boxes of new replacement parts from Gary Goers If purchaser does not want parts cars due to shipping costs or whatever there is no requirement that you take them- but they will save you thousands on your restoration. I respectfully request that any bidder call me to discuss what is and isn't there. I want you to know what you are buying. (970) 227-7969.
