NO RESERVE AUCTION ESTATE SALE In efforts to help raise money to help my mom pay her bills and fix the house. Up for grabs here is a 1983 Dodge Mini Ram Van. I really don't know why they call it "Mini Ram" it looks like a full size van to me, LOL. My Dad bought this van May of 89 with 70,619 original miles (he's had this since I was in high school, LOL) . He bought this to go back and forth to the campground he liked to relax at. Now, almost 22 years later it has 132,711. She fires right up and runs & drives great ! It's surprisingly good on gas (considering). As seen in the pictures this has 2 captain chairs as well as 2 bench seats that come out real easy. Dad had some bobo replace the transmission and it's had a vibration ever since. When you do between 50-55mph is when you feel it (he probably drove it like that for the last 10 years, LOL). He also had it painted about 5 years ago and kept in the garage ever since. Last January I had my truck stolen and I drove this for about 8 months before I could afford my own vehicle again and it was actually nice to drive. My dad took good care of it and always did the maintainence. I hate to say it but it's been sittin' now. I start it up and run it for awhile, but haven't really drove it. It's no 2011 but for the year that it is...I think it's in great condition ! My Dad was going to put Antique tags on it but never had a chance. Now, I can only describe to the best of my opinion. The interior is in great condition, driver seat has wear but isn't coming apart at the seams. Everything is original except the radio. This baby has the powerful 318 Dodge engine, new tires (the spare too), and I replaced the ball joint and idler arm on the passenger side. It does have air conditioning...but it doesn't work & I don't know why, sorry. The heat definitely works, it'll roast ya out. The cassette player does work...but the speakers need to be replaced.Remember that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder AND opinions do vary...so in my opinion...I think it's beautiful. However, as much as I'd like to, we just can't keep everything. I'll be listing all kinds of different items from my Dads' estate .
