Vehicle Detail
2002 Jeep Liberty Limited. 125,5xx miles 3.7l v6 4x4 automatic transmission. Power windows, power locks, cruise control, cd player, air conditioning, keyless entry, and remote start. Inspected until May 2011. Runs and drives great. Everything works as it should. No leaks. It has a reciever and 4 pin wiring. 2002 is the best year liberty due to a higher stance and the fact it has the heavy duty truck 45rfe transmission instead of the light duty car transmission they put in from 03 on. Factory service manual is included. The vehicle has wear consistent with its age and mileage. It has some dents and scratches from parking lots. Interior has a tear in drivers seat and the interior overall has some wear. The struts for the hood are worn out. When the engine is cold the shift from first to second gear is noticeable but when warm, or if you let the engine warm up in winter, is not distinguishable from any other shift. One key pad does not work. I have not checked the battery though so it might be as easy as that. It might need some brake pads/rotors for inspection in May but that should be it. It needed nothing to pass its last inspection. It has been a good, dependable vehicle. It has never broke down on us, and the only work that I have done to it is routine maintenance and a tune up last summer (spark plugs and pcv valve) Oil was changed within the past 1000 miles. It should continue to be a dependable vehicle for a long time. Reserve is set well below kbb value. DISCLAIMER: I have described it to the best of my abilities, but I am not a mechanic or an auto body person. It is going on 10 years old and has the normal wear for a jeep of its age that was regularly used. It is not “new“, or “like new“. To put the vehicle into “new” or “like new” condition will take considerable money and I am aware of this. They sell those at dealerships and will charge accordingly. I will email any additional pictures to anyone that wants them and encourage people to check it out in person. When the auction ends the winning buyer wins it for that price. The winning bid is not a starting point for negotiations. It is sold as is, where is. I want people too see pictures or see it in person, I am not responsible for anything you did not know about previous to winning the auction. I will give any help and information you ask for. I will give every opportunity I can for more pictures and for you to personally inspect it. If you decide you do not like it, or do not want it, that is on you. I will do anything I can to provide any information during the auction so you can not cry to me when the auction ends. I will also post all questions on the auction page for everyone to read to further spread information to others. After the auction we will meet at a local notary to sign over the paperwork then you can be on your way. $300 deposit required within 24 hours after auction. Payment expected as cash. Out of state buyers please contact me before bidding.
