1973 mercedes 450 sl conv. has been sitting needs fuel drain and tuned up.It has lots of rust under the car in the floors and some in the trunk.The front passenger fender has rust hole by the headlight.I put a little wax on the car and it shine right up.Has some small dents on the hood and drivers door and here and there.The interior is fair could use some seat covers.The exhaust and rear shocks have been replaced and a few other things.Car runs good enough to get it on a trailer or rollback.I was told it has chrome wheels I haven't clean them yet.The top looks ok but rear windows are fog.Brakes feel ok,but I would still go over them.Has a piece of sheet metal in the front drivers floor.Car is sold as is and has a very low reserve.I have to many projects so starting to sell some off.200.00 to paypal within 24 hours of auctions close and balance due at time of pickup in cash within 7 days of auction end.On Jan-21-11 at 15:38:16 PST, seller added the following information: started the car up today and seem to run ok. So i guess the fuel system okOn Jan-24-11 at 17:44:12 PST, seller added the following information: This car might have had an engine replacement,The fuel injection nozzles have wires on them,Does that mean they are eletric?I thought mec. injection had tubes on them.Any one who knows these cars please let me know,so I don't steer anyone wrong thanks for your time cgjunk
