Vehicle Detail
For sale here is a nice 1982 Camaro Z28 with 59k original miles. The mileage on the title is listed as "Actual" and the vehicle history report verifies the mileage. Heck, this car still has the original factory exhaust in it!! This is a real deal low mileage car. A previous owner replaced the original 305 engine with a 1970 350 that according to the suffix code has 250hp stock. This Camaro is in good condition overall. I purchased it a few months ago after it had been sitting unused for 10 years. The car did not run due to a problem with the original CFI (Crossfire Injection) unit and might be why it was parked. I was able to get it running with the CFI, but not well enough to drive so I installed a carburetor. All of the original CFI parts and components including the computer are still in the car. I also have the original CFI manifold assmembly. The transmission looks to be the original TH200C and I just installed a B&M torque converter lock-up controller. The rear axle is a posi unit with disc brakes and I believe a 3.42 ratio. The only rust I see on the car is to the inside and bottom of the LH door and a small area on the lower portion of the rear impact bar. I have a good replacement door that goes with the sale. This Camaro could use a repaint since the red is faded and chipped. It has a rare optional drivers seat with double bolster and lumbar adjustments. The car runs great and drives and the transmission shifts through all the gears. I have a factory radio but it needs rear speakers. The dash pad is craked. I also have the A/C parts that I removed. New parts just installed: Carpet Rear shocks Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor Edelbrock Performer intake Holley fuel pressure regulator with return In-tank fuel pump Starter Ignition module, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor B&M Converter lock-up controller Hood lift supports Rear hatch supports. It also still has its original spare tire and jack assembly.
