Rare! 1940 GMC Pickup. Not your common Chevrolet. It has some very distinct differences that stand out and some that are subtle. GMC script on grille, tailgate, and valve cover. Big bold chrome emblems on hood sides. This truck is very cool! Its nearly complete and in excellent condition as seen in the pics. I need to narrow down projects and am willing to let this go to a new home if someone will do it justice. All the drivetrain is intact including the GMC specific 228 engine with logo on the valve cover. NOT the Chevy 216. It has all 4 of the artillery wheels plus a spare. Doors open and close great and the hood and latches operate as well. They are NOT froze up. All of the body panels are solid. ALL metal. No fiberglass. Not paper thin metal as we normally find in 80 year old vehicles. The door skins need to be replaced or repaired and some hammer and dolly work would result in perfect fenders. It wouldn't take much to get it running and driving. This is an excellent start for a project! Bill of Sale only.
