Up for auction is a rust free 1979 Bronco Ranger XLT Freewheeling package. I bought this Bronco In Sebring Florida almost 2 years ago. I trailered it back home, and then did the body restoration. The complete body was stripped of all paint and any surface rust. The body work consisted of replacing a damaged passenger fender and passenger door.(Ford parts,not cheap aftermarket) All dents were removed,and then the epoxy etch primer was sprayed. High build primer was then applied( 3 Coats) and then the board sanding between every coat. Once the body was straight, the PPG Gloss black urethane was applied. The end result is a near perfect body and paint.There are a few minor surface scratches,and stone chips in the paint. The Bronco had the 3 color small freewheeling stripe package. Most of the stripes were removed at somepoint before I bought this truck.I wanted to re apply them,but at this point the company who is reproducing them has not finished them yet. The interior is all original Black XLT. I installed a set of Fox body stang seats up front so I could recline the backrest,these are black cloth to match the rest of the interior. The engine is the original 351M mated to a C6 3 speed automatic. The trasfer case is the original NP205. The 4X4 system works perfect. The 9 inch,and the dana 44 up front have 4:10 gears and they are both open non posi.The wheels are new 15X12 Mickey Thompson classics with 36 X 14.5 Mickey Thompson Baja's. These cost almost 3K and have less than 50KM on them. The Bronco has newer rancho shocks(6 of them) dual steering stabalizer,4 inch superlift,dual exhaust off of the factory manifolds.This truck was fairly well optioned from the factory with A/C, Cruise,interior light group,33 gal gas tank,with skid plate,transfer case skid plate,factory tow package.It has a new gas tank,new steering box,all new door pins in the hinges,new door felts,channel runs,new cowl emblems,new windshield seal,all new rear brakes including the flex line and hard lines,new body mounts,all the sway bar end links have been rebuild with urethane(front and back).All the galss is good,and has factory tint, the rear power window works on the tail gate key. The dash switch for the rear window is not working,but I have a NOS Ford switch that I have not installed yet that will go with the Bronco. I managed to locate a set of the factory black door mirrors that are correct for the freewheeling package.The engine and tranny are in good working order,and by the time this listing ends the factory carb will be rebuilt.There is a chrome front bumper on the truck now,but I have an original painted bumper that should be on the truck with the freewheeling package,that will go with it as well.There is an after market trailer hitch installed on the Bronco. There are some items that I have not replaced on the truck yet. I have not got the carpet,and the rear tailgate seal,as well as the outer tailgate felt.The A/C, and Cruise did not work when I bought the Bronco,and I removed both systems. I have all the parts that were removed,and they will be going with the truck.I am sure I have missed something on this but if you have any questions please email me and I will answer them for you. My reserve is far less than what I have into this truck. I have a valid owner ship in my name,and I also have a copy of the origial Florida title. These cost me 170.00 plus shipping,and are new in the package. I can have the Broco saftey inspected in the provice of Ontario,but that paper is not valid in any other provice,or state. The milage on the truck, and the tires is less than 50KM since I bought them and had the Bronco certified. I have the Safety inspection certificate with the the mileage at that time. The tires are loke Brand new conditon. I also have some extra parts from the build that I will include with the Brocno.
