Up for sale is 2001 F-150 Super Crew King Ranch 4x4 truck. The vehicle is powered by the 5.4 Triton V8. This was the top of the line f-150 for that year model and came with every option offered by ford at the time. The vehicle has a 3" body lift on it that was installed on the vehicle when I purchased. The tires on the vehicle are Kumho 35x12.50/17 and have 70% tread remaining in the front and 50% tread remaining on the back. I have owned the vehicle for approximately three years. It was used as a work truck to transport tools and my employees around the Eastern United States. I purchased the vehicle with 90,680 miles on it, so as you can see all the miles are highway miles. I had my fathers friend purchase the truck through Manheim Auctions becasue he was an authorized dealer. The title states that the mileage is not actual due to the batttery being dead at time of purchase, not allowing the odometer to be displayed during purchase. I have personally put 160,000 miles on the truck so in any case it is not a low mileage vehicle. The truck does need TLC to make it perfect but does show well with its current flaws. The truck does run a and drive but appears to be burning antifreeze/coolant. It will not overheat but over time the coolant overflow tank becomes lower and lower.I have uploaded pictures of the visable flaws on the vehicles and note this is a used truck and does have minor dings and scratches present. The vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied in anyway. TOOLBOX IS INCLUDED WITH SALE. RECENT WORK PERFORMED : REAREND WAS REBUILT APPROXIMATEY 9 MONTHS AGO. NEW ALTERNATOR APPROXIMATEY 6 MONTHS AGO. NEW STARTER APPROXIMATEY A YEAR AGO. NEW POWER STEERING PUMP A YEAR AND HALF AGO. 5 IGNITION COILS AND MAP SENSOR AT 165,000. NEW REAR BRAKE PADS AT 230,000. KNOWN MECHANICAL ISSUES : THE EMERGENCY BRAKE DOES NOT FUNCTION AND INDICATOR LIGHT SAYS ITS APPLIED BUT IS NOT. COLUMN SHIFTER HAS PLAY. SUNROOF ONLY GOES INTO VENT POSITION AND WILL NOT MOVE SLIDE BACK INTO THE FULL OPEN POSITION, ONLY THE VENT POSITION. THE EXHAUST PIPES ARE IN POOR CONDTION. THE SWAY BAR BUSHING NEED TO BE REPLACED, I HAVE THE BUSHING JUST NEED TO BE INSTALLED. AND MOST RECENTLY THE TRUCK HAS BEEN SLOWLY USING COOLANT, IT APPEARS TO BE BURNING COOLANT AND NOT LEAKING COOLANT.
