Up for auction is the chassis and body for a 1935 chevrolet master 3 window coupe. If you know these cars, you know how rare this model is. Only about 11000 master coupes were made in 1935, and most were 5 window rather than 3. 1935 was the first year of the turret type roof rather than a cloth insert. 1935 master coupes are also the ONLY COUPE CHEVY EVER MADE WITH SUICIDE DOORS!!! This is an extremely rare and extremely desireable car, I have only seen a couple in my life. This car was recovered from the desert and although it has alot of surface rust and is bent up it is very solid and more than worthy of being saved and turned into an excellent rod or custom. The only area with rot holes is on the upper right quarter panel from the car laying on its side for many years. It is hard to see the rotted area, it is on the passenger side just behind the door in the body line area of the quarter panel, a spare and very solid right rear quarter panel is included. The roof has some damage from handling and lifting but a spare solid roof is also included with the car. the tailpan below the trunk is torn off the car but a spare tailpan is included as well. The trunk probably needs to be re-skinned due to dents but is solid. A rough grille is included. There are two front fenders but one is a 36 and would need to be mdified to look like a 35. The rear fenders are savable and an extra right rear fender is on the spare quarter panel. Doors are rough but savable, hood is relatively nice-it was bought seperately and is not original to car. The front and rear window garnish moldings are in great shape and included as well as a bunch of other parts stacked inside car, as well as a title. only parts pictured come with car, there is no engine, drivetrain, suspension, running boards, or interior. There are a couple manufacturers that make fiberglass fenders for this model car, you can also get the rears 2 inches wider on each side. Running boards are available in fiberglass and steel and are both available 2 inches wider as well. You can also get fiberglass grille shells and aftermarket grille inserts for 35 chevy masters. If an experienced body man gave this body shell a workover and then new fenders and running boards were added it could be a bad ass coupe in a short time frame. This car needs someone with more disposable income than me to finish it right. A car this rare and unusual will offer a return on investment and will always be valuable. This car looks very rough at first glance but would make a great rod and is very savable. I do not want to part with the car and am only doing so because of financial conditions that require it, the starting price is much less than I have invested, I have seen worse 35 coupes than this selling for $7500.oo please contact me with any questions, this is pick up only and not to be shipped.
