ATTN: I NEED THIS CAR GONE ASAP. That is why it is only a 3 day listing! Buyer has until 3 days after auction ends to remove it from my mothers home where it is now. If it is not removed by the 3rd day after auction ends, I will refund your money to you and sell the car locally as my mother does not want it at her home any longer. Thanks for the understanding. 1973 TOYOTA CELICA ST o.k. so here I go again, listing this vehicle for the third time. Both other times I had listed this car previously I ended the auction after 1 day since no bid had been placed and I had considered other options besides selling it, as I really don't want to sell it. The first time I ended the listing I had it listed with an opening price of $1200 and a buy it now of $1800, I ended it after 1 day, thinking that it may be worth more in parts than as a whole, and I wanted to give it some thought before I chose which way to go with it. Not too long later I stumbled across a local man who had two 1973 celicas and two 1974 celicas who was asking only $500.00 for ALL FOUR OF THEM. Knowing that they would not last long at that price, I attempted to raise the $500 as soon as possible. So I relisted this car here on ebay motors with a buy it now of $750 thinking that it would be snatched up immediately. The next day I woke up and checked the listing to find that it had not been bought, so Again I looked at my options, and thought that I could probably get the $500 that I needed for the others by parting it out, so I made a listing of some of the easy parts to take off and was planning on at least parting enough of the car to raise the cash I needed. Unfortunately the other cars that were available are long gone now, so there is no reason to part this car out to raise the money any longer. I have removed a few things from the car, but have not sold anything, so everything you see in the video below I still have, but a few items we will to be re-installed. These items include the hood, bumpers, grill, lights, two door panels, passenger seat, hub-caps, gas tank, and that might be about it, i'm not sure exactly and the car is at my mothers house right now so I can't check to make sure, but I know that I still have everything that I removed so no worries there. You will need a trailer to pick this car up. Outside needs some body work and new paint, inside needs passenger side knobs, steering wheel has been carved into, and sun cracks are on the dashes. Seats have some cracks. Back seats look pretty decent. Has original radio in dash but not sure if it works because the wiring is not connected. The wiring was recently attached to a CD Player that is no longer there. (see wires). Car doesn't have any odors (smoke, pet, mildew, or anything -- so that is good.) The front has some damage on the bumper and the hood doesn't close properly (see pictures where we can place a finger under the hood after it is closed) recent things done to car: plugs, cap, rotor, starter, water pump, spark plug wires, and a new clutch a year and a half ago. This car was purchased with the intent of restoring it. The previous owner, Mr. Vue said that he thought it just needed a new carb. I purchased another carb and used the parts from that one to rebuild this carb along with a carb rebuild kit. Well I got the car to start anyway, however, fluid (seems to be gas/oil mix) is coming out of the top of the engine and dripping on the ground, so I believe the engine is shot.
