This auction is for a 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL. I am selling this car for my parents. They have been the only owners of this car for the past 22 years. It has been kept in Florida since they moved there. They brought the car up to New York this past summer to store it since they no longer drive. I originally planned on keeping the car for myself but I only have one parking spot and my wife is pregnant so having a 22 year old convertible is just not practical. This car is in great condition for being on the road for 22 years. It only has 132k miles and only a few issues. This car still runs great and when you take it on the highway you can still open it up! The top is brown color I don't have a photo of it because I took these photos a few days ago and it is freezing here in NY, If needed I can get photos of the soft top) 2 keys - 1 original 1 copy made circa 1995~Car issues Air condition - The A/C works but only comes out of the 2 side vent and the front wind shield vent. The 2 vent in the middle are not working. We have never looked into what the issue was so I don't know anymore detailsFront bumper - on the corner of one side of the front bumper there is a nick of missing rubber. I have included this in the photo. This is the only cosmetic issue with the carPassenger side sun visor - This happened recently. I am not sure if you are familiar with this model but the visor is held at two ends one metal the other plastic. The plastic part broke so the visor doesn't stay up anymore. You could either fix this by replacing the visor, removing the visor or coming up with a home made solution. I decided to leave it as is and let the new owner to choose.Radio - This is not a real issue but we replaced it with a new one a few years back. Anyone familiar with this model knows the original radio was not "user friendly". But for those interested in original parts we still have the original radio head.This is a great car and I hope it finds a good home where it will still be used and love Good Luck! I am currently in Florida picking up my new car which is the reason I am selling this one. Trunk EngineSeatsSoft top I have also gotten a bunch of service records from my parents, These include the bill of sale from 1988 along with services records from through out the cars life. I have not gotten a chance to go through all of these yet but I will sort out what has been repaired lately. When and how this was repaired I am not sure I will check the service records
