Vehicle Detail
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION, ALL THE WAY THROUGH, BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS!! This vehicle has a CLEAN TITLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Up for your bidding pleasure I have my wife's car - a 2008 Chrysler Aspen Limited with the FlexFuel Option. This is the 2WD with the tow/haul option on the shifter. This Limited edition is fully loaded, it has the 3rd row seating, dual AC/Heating Controls, Heated Mirrors, built in 110V Ac outlet, REN/MYGig Entertainment system with the 30GB hard drive, built in Sirius Satellite (Activated), Alpine Upgraded Speakers, the MyGig can be used to play in dash (front) DVD's with the optional LockPick. This MyGig does NOT have the navigation feature. The passenger seat has a built-in Pyle DVD player for the kids, it can read DVD, CD R., USB etc. The player comes with its own remote and wired headphones (We do have the original headrest, and it will be included). The interior is finished in gray cloth which is in great shape. There are no rips tears or stains on the seating area or carpeting, the vehicle is and has been a non-smokers' car. The driver seat is full power and works as it should. All the interior electronics are fully functional. The AC and Heating are in perfect operating order. The side view mirrors have the "heat" option. The V8 is smooth, and offers plenty of pickup and torque. With only 60K miles on it, I think and hasn't even been broken into. We never abused or towed anything with this SUV. It was our Ski Taxi and spent most of its time inside the garage at our Mammoth Vacation Home. The transmission shifts perfect with no issues. Suspension is perfect, with no rattles, pulling or steering issues. The car rides on 4 Brand New Michelin's AT Truck tires ($1100.00 for the tires, balancing and alignment), the tires carry warranty which will be included in the sale. The spare is also a Full Size tire and is located under the car in the back. I did the brakes about 8 months ago, so they should be fine. The front shocks and bushings were also done at the same time, about 8 months ago. If I locate the work order, I will include it. The Aspen has roof racks on it and a SportRack vehicle storage box for skis, snowboards, cargo etc. The box is in my garage and it will be included in the sale - if the buyer desires it! The exterior of the car is in very nice shape, the paint is shiny and has very few dings - nothing major or worth mentioning. The body is West Coast and has NO rust on it! The exterior color is a black metallic, very hard to see unless in the sun. This car has given us absolutely NO problems, and I have been impressed with the gas mileage. It returns well over 20 -22 MPG on the highway and about 16 MPG city - for a HUGE SUV it's very respectable! I have never used the FlexFuel option, but I am sure that if you want to go "green" and pump Ethanol - it will work. Please take a careful look at all the pictures and the embedded video. What you see is what you will get. This SUV will be sold As IS and Where IS with no written or implied warranty or guarantees of any kind. The SUV no longer falls under the Factory Warranty, it ended at 50K miles. The SUV comes with 1 (one) original FOB key that controls the alarm and power locks/etc and one DVD which has the owners manual for the ASPEN and for the MYGIG Entertainment system. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AND THEN RE-READ: The title is a CLEAN/CLEAR California Title. It is not salvaged or rebuilt title. I am aware of the Carfax/Autocheck Issue Found. I was aware of it when I bought it. We purchased the vehicle in December of 09'. The California Department of Vehicles has issued a clean/clear title on this car. I do not know why or how the issue appears on Carfax or Autocheck. When I first bought the SUV, I questioned the DMV office and I was offered the following explanation: Carfax/Autocheck/Experian are all privately owned agencies. They are not affiliated or in any way related to the California Department of Vehicles, which is a State Agency. DMV, does not get or take any information from any of those companies. I do not know what happened to the vehicle in the past, I don't know why it appears as a possible total loss in NV, all I can say is that I have a Clean Ca title in hand, with no liens, that will come with the vehicle! If you read on the Carfax and Autocheck report it lists it as a "probable total loss" vehicle. The way you see the vehicle is the way we bought it! I have sold the vehicle last month (11/23/10) and a new title was issued - again a CLEAN title. Please note the California title issuance on Carfax and Autocheck clearly shows the title as a Clean/Clear title. Even in December of 2010! Please take a look at the picture! On the upper right side of the title there is a RED box which will list any issues with the title. The last sale ended in a trip to the local police station due to falsified/counterfeit funds and repossession - but that is a whole other story. I have been on ebay for the last 12 years and all my descriptions have been spot on. I never had any issues and I don't want to start now. I wanted to be honest and explain the title issue which is really not an issue...to me, at least. I wanted to make sure any buyer is aware of the issue reported in NV. I am not a state agency, I cannot guarantee you anything, all that I stand for is that California has issued a clean title on this SUV. If you have any doubts, any! Please take the VIN and call your local DMV or California DMV - I don't know what else to tell you. If you have any doubts, of any kind - please come and inspect the vehicle in person! This is the second time I am listing the vehicle, someone complained about the title issue and ebay has cancelled my auction. I am trying to be honest, but telling the truth is "penalized". You can have the vehicle inspected by your mechanic, dealer, friend etc as long as I have a 24 hr notification! Do not have the inspection after you won the auction! I expect a $500.00 paypal non-refundable deposit at the end of the auction, not the next day or next week - At the end of the Auction! The balance of funds can be paid in cash or bank wire (preferred). Please understand that you are buying a used car/SUV. I am not a car dealer, wholesaler, shop etc - once you bought it it's yours. Furthermore, you understand the Carfax/Autocheck issue - I will not give any refunds or etc because Carfax says that there is an issue...I know there is an issue, I saw it and acknowledged it. I cant change it! If you have any questions, offers etc. please use the contact seller link. Thanks!
