1968 Dodge Charger, Original California Black Plate Vehicle Engine: 383 bored .30 over built by PMR Racing Berlin Ct. Milodon main studs and 7 quart pan with windage tray. Eagle H-beam rods. JE Forged pistons. Mopar stage 5 heads with mild porting. Competition cam with roller rockers. Edelbrock RPM Performer Carb and Intake. Mopar aluminum pump housing with Milodon pump. MSD Pro Billet distributor, wires and 6AL box. K&N Air filter. Transmission: Dynamic 727 with street/strip valve body. Dynamic Converter with 3500 stall, also have 2600 stall Rearend: 8 ¾ Mopar posi with 355 gears in a 489 case. Green axle bearings with no end play adjustment. Tires and Wheels: Front 15x7 Magnums with 235 Eagle GT’s. Rear 15x8 Magnums with 275 Eagle GT’s. Exhaust: Hooker Super Comp headers HPC coated. 2 ½ Aluminized exhaust with 3 chamber Flowmasters. 2 ½ Stainless exhaust tip. Misc. : Power steering, Power brakes and Air Conditioning. Rear mounted battery. Subframe connectors. AC conversion to R-134 with Sanden compressor. Complete rebuild of frontend with Polygraphite bushings. New HD rear leaf springs. New re-chromed bumpers. New front Legendary seat covers. Be Cool aluminum radiator with twin Spal fans. Transmission cooler. Pioneer stereo CD, MP3 compatible with 4 new speakers and new rear package tray. Have complete original 383 motor and transmission that comes with the sale. Have original black plate, title and build sheet. On Jan-09-11 at 18:53:32 PST, seller added the following information: The vehicle was bought out of San Diego, CA in 1997 and has been garaged since I brought to CT. The paint is about 15+ years old and is good for a driver but would need to be redone for a show car. The only area that needs to be addressed is the lower PS quarter which you can see in the photo and a small area near the rear window. The trunk floor has been replaced before I received the vehicle. This is a fantastic original CA vehicle. There seems to be some confusion about the original motor and transmission which will also go with the vehicle and was running when I pulled it in 1998. I also have the original radio, AC parts, air cleaner, radiator along with other misc. brake parts. Also the mileage is not 10,700 its at least 107,000 as the odometer has turned over. Everything on the vehicle works, headlight doors, lights, gauges, speedo etc... the only thing that is not working is the fuel gauge. Last of all this is not an R/T but a standard Charger. Also, the grill has a couple of broken fins. This sale comes with an additional used original grill that has no broken fins. The undercoating is original. This is a very clean California car.
