Up for sale is my grandparents 1988 black on black Volvo 760 GLE Turbo. They are the original owners of the car and my grandmother was the primary driver. The only reason for selling is that she no longer drives. The car has a new battery, new tires (within yr), A/C conversion to 134a, and has otherwise been maintained and needs nothing but a new driver. The Volvo maintenance book is included with the sale and shows that the car has been maintained since new by VOLVO of Englewood NJ. The exterior is in excellent condition, only a small crack in the front bumper, some scratching on the driver side fender, and a piece of the chrome molding is cracked off. About 3 years ago, my grandmother was rear ended pulling into her driveway by some kid doing about 20mph. The damage has been professionally repaired and it was minor. The interior is very close to mint condition. The pictures do not do it justice. The leather is free of any cracks or tears and is still supple. The carpet is clean, free of stains. The original sound system works and sounds great as do the heated seats, sunroof, power seats, windows, and all other gadgets. As far as I can see and know, the car needs absolutely nothing and is in exceptional condition for a 22 year old vehicle. Please understand that the vehicle is 22 years old and is not perfect. If you are looking for perfection, go to the dealership and purchase a new one. The AutoCheck score is lower than it should be because my grandfather accidentally ripped the original title when he removed it from a folder it was in for 22 years. He sent it in for a duplicate and NJ DMV lost the first one they issued and then sent him another one. Apparently this makes the "autocheck" score lower.
