I restored this truck in 2010 finished it around April, I am the second owner ,have owned it for 10yrs , This truck Still has the original paint except for the drivers front fender. This truck was an original 2wd longhorn truck. I took the complete body off and converted it too 4 wheel drive, I had the complete frame ,brackets , crossmembers and rearend housing and backing plates and core support , inner fender wells battery tray, POWDER COATED gloss black with a clear coat.then I then put in a newer GM 350 V8 motor with about 5k miles on it. Also put in a rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission and I completely rebuilt the New Process 205 transfer case with all new bearings seals ,every needle bearing included and gaskets. new rear driveshaft , rebuilt front driveshaft , all new inner and outer brgs and races in rearend and brakes. front axle all new brakes and seals. aluminum Edelbrock manifold and edelbrock Qaudrajet , and brand new HEI distibuter High Output. new 4 core radiater new rear bumper , Also New factory original seat cover, The only other thing I changed in the interior was The floor mat, everything else in the interior is original. It has Factory Ac works fine , New Pwr Disc Brakes and master cyclinder ,power steering am fm radio cassette. The sunvisors are nice except the rh side has some of the traeds missing on the edgiing , full instrument gauges. The truck has complete upper and lower side moulding which is clean and original . The perfect wood bed I had line-x ed years ago to protect it . This truck has had a camper shell on it its whole life , I used it for camping only. Has class a receiver hitch and trailer brakes , I have shown it as is at local car shows ,. I have only put about 3000 miles on it since the conversion. You cant build the chassis for the cost of this truck, Runs and drives like new. Has a 4" lift suspension and a 2" body lift with 5 brand new 235 85R /16 " tires . This truck is rust free , you can see in photos where I applied some sealer temporary too fix where the original caulking came loose on the rain gutters. also you can see a scratch on the side of the bed which was there when I bought it. Also when I had the bed off I scrubbed the underneath of the wood and respayed it with black lacquer .
