1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This is number matching Trans Am with the original 403 (6.6 liter) V8. This is a good running Trans Am, but it is in need of restoration. I just drove it 75 miles without any problems and it runs cool. I have taken numerous photos of the car and I have tried to show the problems areas. On the positive side, it is almost complete, has all of the original wheels, including the spare, all of the wheel caps, and the fender flares. It starts and runs easily and most of the lights work as they should. The brakes work and the transmission shifts smoothly. The trunk floor is solid, the frame is in good shape and the rust in the floor is mostly on the driver's side. It has a good muffler system and sounds terrific. You can see the vapor coming from the dual exhaust in one of the photos. It is very cold in Utah and when the warm exhaust hits the cold air you can clearly see the car running. On the negative side, the driver's side floor is rusted, the interior is tattered, and there is rust problems in the fender wells. The hood needs to be aligned and and the body needs a lot of work.
