These 4Runners are such great trucks, I just bought a new one, so this one is now for sale! The new one is my 3rd 4Runner. I had an '88 4x4 V6 with 213K on it, this truck, and now a Limited. You can't top the reliability of these trucks unless you stepped up to a Lexus! I’ve owned this truck since July 2005 where I bought it in California off a corporate lease, and have put 64K miles on it in that 5 ½ years. Always adult driven and waxed, this truck is very clean inside and out. I put the leather & wood interior out of a Limited into this SR5 Sport package truck (with factory class III tow package), so the insurance is less, but you still have the luxury. I never took this truck off road, and have only towed a small 16’ catamaran on a single axel trailer for two seasons in the past 2 years, so no strenuous duty. Never wrecked, and the motor, transmission, and rear end have never been out of the truck or tampered with. Even the paint’s original. I have put on some simple bolt on goodies as follows: · Boss aluminum 18” wheels with Goodyear 60-Series tires (~75% tread remaining) · TRD factory stainless steel headers (bought new from Toyota) · Borla stainless steel cat-back exhaust, with ss tip (bought new from Borla) · Stainless steel “bull bars” in front · K&N cold air intake · Flex-a-lite dual electric fan w/adjustable thermostat. · AEM fuel:air ratio digital guage and wide band O2 sensor (for tuning the MAF calibrator) · Underdog racing programmable MAF signal calibrator. Piggyback unit, easily removed. The truck has its original computer. · Performance product suspension: heavy duty coil springs on all 4 corners. · Billstein shock absorbers on all 4 corners. · Addco anti-sway bars, front and rear. · Air lift1000 pneumatic air bags inside the rear coil springs w/VDO pressure guage. · Sony removable face FM/single CD head unit with 4 dual range “Explod” Speakers (factory tweeters retained) · Kenwood low noise 4 channel 200W amp for the Sony dual range speakers · Kenwood 200W subwoofer amp for the single 12” enclosed subwoofer (designed for ultra high clarity, not stopping your heart) · Gear reduction starter, and lots of little things (3rd brake light LED, Window vents, aftermarket tail light assemblies, aluminum diamond plate floor “mats” which I took out to show the carpet had no major stains, factory optional running boards & roof rack, Black Widow alarm/keyless entry, etc). Recently serviced at Toyota of Deerfield Beach, this truck needs nothing but a new home. The clear coat is starting to show it’s age, but no rust or major scratches/dents, and everything works. Clear FL title & current registration in my name, and I’ll go with you to the DMV to ensure a clean transaction. I work from home so can arrange a viewing most anytime.
