Vehicle Detail
1964 FORD FALCON SPRINT FACTORY 4-SPEED Rangoon Red Exterior on Black Interior What an awesome color combo!!! Up for sale is my 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint. This is a factory Sprint not some made up clone!!! This car still wears 85% of it's original rangoon red paint as well as it still has the original interior. This car spent most of it's life in chattanooga tennessee. I bought this car about 6 years ago and kept it for 2 years and was forced to sell it, fortunately I was able to buy it back when the guy I sold it to was forced to sell it 2 1/2 years ago. This car stays inside thus the reason for it being in such good rust free condition. I recently purchased another project and have decided to sell the sprint. I don't have to sell it, but I would like to see it go to someone who will give it the restoration it deserves. This car is rust free with the exception of a tiny bit of rust in the passenger front floor due to a leaky heater core in the past. It is very minute and does not require a new floor pan in my opinion. The car is driveable as is. Within the last 6 months I have installed all new brakes, wheel cylinders, new hardware kits, new shocks (air shocks on rear), new plugs, wires, points, rotor cap and button. It has new Torq Thrust wheels with new BFG white letter radials. It also has a new true dual flowmaster exhaust system from the manifolds back, not some hack job exhaust. The car is in really really good shape to be 47 years old. If you have been looking for a sprint that is as solid as any unrestored 64 out there then this is it! A small section of the drivers side front apron was replaced due to an accident in the mid 60's according to the original owner(see pic), all of the panels line up really well and other than the mentioned accident this car is completely in original unharmed condition. It does have the dash mounted tach and it is a true factory 4-speed car. According to the engine code it is a late 64 or early 65 premium fuel 225hp 289ci. the rear axle ratio is 3:25. This car runs and drives really well. The original carb could use a little tuning or maybe even a rebuild as it seems to sometimes stumble a little when you really stand on the gas. This car is located in Alabama and Alabama does NOT title vehicles older than 1974. You will get a notorized bill of sale, so make sure this will work for you before you bid. I do still have the Tennessee title from 1967 when the original lien was satisfied. This falcon is sold as is where is and no warranty is expressed or implied. This falcon is available for inspection during the auction. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. You can reach me on my cell @ 706-681-3475. Don't miss this oporitunity as they don't come that often!!!!!
