1968 chevelle supersport 138 code 396 4 speed with gauges and a factory tach,non ac car,12 bolt rear im unsure of the gear ratio,interior has buckets factory black gut,will need a recover,it has new door paenls new rear panels,newer rug with insulation,looks like new headliner also,will need 1 new armrest in the rear.weatherstriping around the doors and the jams are in good shape,heat works,lights,horn,directionals,wipers work, tach is tempermental,the floors are very solid,untouched,the car was painted some years ago ,and has its nicks and bruises but still shows good,i dont feel a lip in the trunk so im not sure if there factory or not but there solid along with the wheel wells,at some point the 396 was removed and a 1970 date coded 350 was put in ,and i dont know were the original is,as for the transmision its aluminum with the smaller yoke i dont have the numbers but im thinking m/21 ? shift pattern is up and over to the left,the trunk is solid, car has power steering and power brakes,this car comes with a copy of the regestration and bill of sale only rhode island does not issue titles on cars over 10 years old,the car is safely kept in my garage ,ive described this car to the best of my knowledge,id be happy to answer all questions anyone has about the car,if you would like to discuss on the phone any aspects of the car leave a number,and ask your questions through ebay so we have records of any details,the car can be seen prior to auction end bye apointment,if you have less than 5 feedback or negative feedback i reserve the right to cancel bid unless you have contacted me,this car is sold as is as seen with no warranty,do to the nature of its a muscle car /classic car not a drag racing machine,this car is ready to retire to warmer weather down south,thanks for looking i am not looking for any trades thanks car does not leave my garage untill funds clearOn Jan-03-11 at 12:10:22 PST, seller added the following information: hope these pictures help i wont be able to put anymore pics till friday or saturday do to work but i do check my ebay from my computer at work so can still answer any questions when i get a chance,i dont have the build sheet but i never looked ,under gas tank, stuffed f in seats? but to the best of my knowledge the info i gave is correct ,im not selling a matching number car,but what i am sure of its a 138 chevelle ss from the regesteration thanks again,no buy it now price sorry i let the auction runOn Jan-05-11 at 17:42:15 PST, seller added the following information: sorry i forgot to mention this cars runs great,tight motor,the car will spin 2nd gear and pull hard,the tranny shifts awsome it has a new clutch and throwout bearing,this car in my opion could drive anywhere as long as the weather was nice , motor pics will be up on friday thanksOn Jan-06-11 at 15:32:01 PST, seller added the following information: if any questions on the car call 401 365 7229
