Vehicle Detail

1966 GMC 1/2 Ton Short Box. Rare! Short Wide Box! Runs Awesome! Two Previous Owner Truck! My Buddy Bought this from his neighbor who purchased it in 1969 from the Original Owner. He got too old to drive and just parked it. I traded my El Camino to my Buddy for the Truck. It has a newer style 250 c.i. six cylinder rebuilt with everything new on the motor. It has the 3 speed manual trans. on the column. Clutch works fine and transmission shifts easily into each gear. It is lowered. I flipped the rear end and put it on top of the leaf springs to lower it in the back. The front has the coils heated and it bangs on the snubbers when you drive it. Single exaust with a Flow Master Muffler. It has manual steering and brakes that both work fine. All the wiring seems to be original (not messed with) and is in good condition. All the electrical stuff works. Heater works great as well as the wipers. CD Player works but is kind of a piece of crap. It is straight but has typical rust. Rust holes in the fenders. Rusty Rockers and floor boards. It looks like the original paint that might have been spotted in in a place or two. I love the Patina!! The wood in the bed is missing in places and needs to be re-placed. Bed is loose. Windows Roll up and down Fine. All glass good except windshield. It has a crack and is foggy from age. Doors lock with key. Seat is original and is riped under the sadleman seat cover. Has original mat on the floor. Wheels are painted with later model Hub Caps and Atlas Port A Walls Mounted on 235/75/15's It gets lots of attention when ever I drive it. Permanent Registration! Has 1966 Washington truck plate with 1966 Tab! Lighted Rear License plate frame with Chrome Skulls! These trucks bring $10000. to $12000. In nice condition! This truck is a great start or leave it rat rod style. Never thought I would sell it, but need money to build my business. It is in my name and title in hand. It will probably need a new battery. I haven't been driving it that much and it seems with the cold weather it doesn't hold a charge. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!! PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!! A $250.00 Non- Refundable Deposit is due within 24 Hours of Auctions End. REMEMBER YOU WIN IT YOU OWN IT! You are welcome to check it out. Just Email me to set up a time. I will respond as soon as I can on questions. I do work full time too. This isn't a win it, come look at it, and decide if you want to buy it or not auction. Ask all questions. If you don't have at least 10 Feed Backs... Contact me first before bidding! No, I don't want to trade for anything. I don't know if this would make a cross country road trip.
