Up for your bidding pleasure I have a very nice, fully loaded E39 or 540iTA Wagon - The Ultimate Driving Machine!. Remember, this is the 540iTA - The V8! Which is the rarest and most sought after. The wagon has the sport package, with the upgraded steering wheel (M5), seat extenders + memory, side skirts, electronic self-leveling suspension, full screen navigation, PDC (parking Distance Control). The cluster/gauges have the M5 chrome rings also. It is fully loaded with dual power seats (F), sunroof/moon-roof, front and back parking assist, AM/FM/CASS w. the CD connection available and is Sirius satellite ready (with the optional module). The exterior is in very nice shape for an 8 year old car, the paint still shines and has no blemishes. There are no major digs or dents, please understand that this is a fairly old car, it has the usual paint pitting in the front, scratches here and there. But overall very nice. The front bumper (passenger side) has a small scrape on the bottom, looks like it scraped against the curb. The wheels/rims are in good shape, they have curb rash on most of them and on one the finish is peeling off. Again, the usual wear for an 8 year old car. The interior is in great shape with no tears or rips in the leather, the driver seat has the 3 MEMORY function (Part of the luxury package). Absolutely no foul odors or cigarette smell - definitely a non smoker car. The carpeting is clean, with no stains or pet hair. The floor mats are a M5 style and look to be in like-new shape. All the interior electronics are fully working, all the lighting (interior and exterior is functional). Parking Distance Control works both F and R. The pixels on all the gauges, including cluster - ARE fully working, NO dead pixels! The blower fan responds to the controls and reaches full speed. The heater is perfect for these winter months. All the seat controls, sunroof, steering wheel, radio, nav are working. The XENON lights function as they should and both angel eyes are working. The navigation is an MKIII type with full screen display, it works flawlessly. The rear disk is the 2009 BMW edition (so it has been updated). The radio works, the sound is clean. The vehicle starts and runs perfectly. There is no hesitation or power loss. This car IS fast, let me say it one more time - EXTREMELY fast! It feels like a sports car but looks like a wagon...The engine sounds nice, the transmission shifts smoothly. The steering is tight, with no rattles or pulling. The brake pads have about 40% life left, the tires about the same. I found two receipts in the car: one for the front end shocks - which have been replaced (so they are brand new) and one for the 80K service (oil change, cooling system cleaning, alignment). The car came to us for storage and shipment to Europe. Due to unforseen economic factors, on the customers side, the deal fell through. So we are trying to collect a balance on our storage and shipment fees...The car carries a California Salvage title, it also comes with an original set of manuals, Original FOB key + valet key. Again, this is Not a bill of sale, it has the actual title. There are no liens or issues. Title is in hand and ready to go. The car has been California Highway Patrol Inspected and has bee re-issued a new title. The CHP report shows damage sustained to the passenger side fender and doors in a theft attempt, also the ignition lock was busted. Or basically, the car was stolen and crashed into something... From the pictures that CHP had in the repair report, it looks like the Passenger side fender and Door have been replaced along with the steering column and ignition lock, there is absolutely NO mention of bodily harm or air bag deployment (take a look at the pictures). I have lifted the car up on the hoist and I cannot find any kind of structural or frame damage. The undercarriage is clean with no oil leaks (see pics). I do not have any previous info on the original owner or the service records. The car has Irvine BMW license plate covers on it - so I imagine that it was serviced there before. The odometer reads 83K miles and that it TRUE mileage, as Approved by CHP and DMV. I have put just about 3k miles on this car on a road trip from New York back to California - the car performed like a champ! Please understand that you are buying a used, salvaged vehicle. I am selling this car AS IS and WHERE IS, with no written or implied warranty or guarantees. I am not a mechanic, dealer, wholesaler etc. I am a shipper and storage facility. I do my best to describe in plain words what I see. I've been on ebay for over 12 years and never had an issue, I don't plan on having one now. Otherwise, you can fly in town and drive this car home. I have no doubt that it will take you anywhere! If you do decide to fly in, make sure it's Burbank Airport - not LAX!
