*** Brief story, I found this on Craigslist in Brainard MN, I was looking around for a car with Better gas Mileage than my Jeep... Found this GT. It is Identical to the one I had as a kid, so I spoke to the owner, we set a date / I bought a plane ticket and flew to Brainard. The owner picked me up, I bought the vehichle with 77,700miles ... and drove it home to PA. 1000+ miles - Now, why would I sell it? I like the car its fun & is good on gas... In truth, My mind isnt set on selling but I want another jeep project and this is my only way to get there. I love the car, enough to think it may be better in a Audi guys hands than a Jeep guys hands... so... Message me & I'll give you my phone number if you have questions. This car runs great, interior is excellent, engine bay looks very clean. I had a cat back exhaust done, I was able to look closely at the underside of the vehicle. There is no floor cancer or any major rust. This would be a great car for any Audi enthusiast or someone who can appreciate the history of the Audi GT. I drive it every day (12 miles) to work, its very good on gas. There are a few flaws - some rust starting to show at the wheel wells, it is just starting to show so now would be the time to fix it. Overall it could use some paint / body touches. The car is very solid and is worth all the attention it needs. This is my second Audi GT and can say I am impressed with the condition of this vehicle. The vehicle is complete - I have a few spare parts to go with it including Original rims (VW rims on it currently), shift knob, moon roof crank handle, Hood & steering wheel... maybe a few other small items
