STEEL BODY Nostalgia 32' Plymouth 3 window ONE OF A KIND Two in One Highboy HOT ROD or RAT ROD... Ca Registration 2011. This Hot Rod was built using a 32' Plymouth Coupe Body, A 32' Plymouth Frame pinched, boxed, molded to look like a ford 32 frame and parts from a 36 dodge PU cab, 32' glass grill shell, rest of the Rod Is Steel. This Hot Rod is a True Built Nostalgia Hot Rod, built the hard way, Sectioned, Chopped using no billet parts, Old School American Graffiti Style Rod. It Took A Lot Of Money, Time and TLC To Build This TRUE HOT ROD.. Not A Fiberglass Cookie Cutter Rod, ! ! I used Milner's 32 Yellow Hot Rod model as a reference when I built this Rod, I wanted it to look like his car but not like his car and not like any other Rod but still have the Look Of A REAL HOT ROD. Days after I almost finished my Rod we went into Production Making Our First Full Length Film Called "HOT ROD HORROR" where I had to modify my newly yellow painted Hot Rod to make it look like it was built in 1957 for our Film Story. I had to paint over the yellow for most of the scenes in our Film, I used a rust color primer water washable paint, built a hood to cover the motor, changed the wheels and tires, had custom straight pipes built gutted the inside transforming my Yellow almost perfect HOT ROD into A RAT ROD..what I didn't know is that the rust color water base paint may ruin my new yellow paint job and it did it is currently yellow but because the water based paint lifted my new paint job it will need to be painted again if you want to make it a show car, although I do show it the way it is and it still wins Awards and is always a hit at Car Shows. Running Gear ; Rebuilt chevy 350 four bolt steel crank, New pistons, bored 30 over, 202 Camel Hump Heads, 3/4 race Summit Cam two 450 holleys, Tunnel Ram, Hilborn Style Air Scoop, (not the 3 butterfly in some of the photos) 350 automatic transmission, gm rear end, 40 ford 4" dropped front axel, stock brakes, chevelle nostalgia steering column changed after photo was taken to keep with nostalgia rod era , This Rod runs good, leaks a little trans fluid around the chrome pan didn't leak before I installed the chrome pan. I drive it to local car shows all of the time it has about 2,500 miles on motor, inside needs roof headliner, side glasses & carpet to finish out. This Rod is a very UNIQUE ROD in every aspect the Dash Board has been signed by all of the Cast & Crew from "HOT ROD HORROR" including myself, I am the Executive Producer in our Film. I built this Hot Rod 10 years ago so am the only owner of this hot rod and it will be missed. A VERY COOL ROD.. Head Turner ! ! ! Currently the Rod Looks like the photos where it is painted yellow (needs new paint), hoodless, chrome headers hilborn single throat air scoop but this Rod can be changed to a Rat Rod very easy by putting on the dummy six pack hood, custom built straight pipe headers and cheater slicks. The Dash Board has been signed by a few famous Race Car Drivers, Celebrities from "AMERICAN GRAFFITI" , Richard Kiel who played JAWS on James Bond Films also signed it and more Cool Folks including Paul Le Mat/Milner from American Graffiti, Candy Clark, Cindy Williams, Bo Hopkins. THIS IS NOT A COOKIE CUTTER HOT ROD FOR SURE.. This Is A Steel Body Chopped, Sectioned, Customized Nostalgia High Boy Three Window Coupe, used in a Film as the Main Attraction, Autographed by All of the Cast & Crew from the Film with other Celebrities Autographs as well.
