1961 Chevrolet Apache 10 Short Box Step Side. The truck has a 235 6cyl. With a 3spd on the column. The truck has 44,000 original miles on it. The motor runs very good. The trans shifts well, no noises in the tranny or motor. Very good running truck. The body on the truck is in pretty good shape for the year. The front & rear fenders are very solid, the bed box is nice. Tail gate is in very nice shape. There are some surface rust spots here in there on the doors & on the hood. The frame is solid, and the floors are pretty solid. There is to small holes about the size of a half dollar in both corners of the floor. The floor brace do have some rust & have been repaired, but nothing major. Very common rust areas on these trucks. It is very solid where the body mounts bolts on. There is also a hole underneath the drive’s side rocker. The roof & windshield frame are very good shape. All the lights, wipers, heat, & gauges work except the gas gauge. The truck has new tires on it, and fresh port a walls. The interior is very nice shape and appears to be original. This could make a cool old shop truck or a restored truck. Please remember this is not a new truck, and is 49 years old. I have tried to describe this truck as best and honestly as I can. I am very picky about my vehicles and tend to describe them worst then they are (so I’ve been told). So please bid with confidence. I have sold many old cars to people across the country and they have all been pleased, and stated the vehicles have been nicer then I described. I do not paint a picture. I do not sell many vehicles on eBay, and the ones I have sold have been after the auction has already ended. So my feedback is low.
