Vehicle Detail
1977 Chevrolet C10 4X4. This pickup has a small block 400. It has a new HEI distributor, new plugs and wires, new air filter, new Rochester quadrajet carburetor, new battery, new wiper blades new choke cable, new fuel pump, new edelbrock intake manifold, new brake pads in front and new shoes in the rear, and the top end has recently been rebuilt. The truck runs great fires right up with a little bit of gas pumping; I recently took it on a 500 mile camping trip in the mountains and it did great! There is a squeak in front drivers side tire area; I haven't investigated. It features dual fuel tanks though 1 tank is not currently hooked up as seen in pictures. 4 wheel drive works but when in free mode and H it doesn't engage so currently you have to either drive locked or free while still kicked into 4X4 mode. It has the automatic turbo 350 transmission that seems to shift through all the gears okay minus a little bump when put into reverse. The exhaust is in good shape but only goes to the mufflers then stops. The body is quite straight with one small dent in the tailgate. There is some surface rust currently primed over to prevent spread and some deeper rust in lower panels and so forth but nothing has rusted entirely through. As said body is quite straight for and old 77. The tire tread is probably around 20 to 25% and as seen in pictures there are 3 matching aluminum alloys with a 4th mismatched and a white spare. The glass is in good shape all around. The interior bench seat is in great shape; the dash is cracked. It is missing a stereo altogether. It has air conditioning but is missing the motor. Heat seems to work fine. The chrome bumpers are in fair/good condition as seen in pics and it does already have a hitch welded on. All the lights and blinkers seem to work just fine. The odometer reads 84,972 but am not sure if it is 184,972. Overall this is a good rig and has the potential of being an easy great restoration project. Email with any questions. This is a NO RESERVE auction.
