Up for sale i have a 1978 triumph spitfire.I am the the fourth owner of this vehicle,i purchased it from my father,the third owner.the car is a four cylinder with a four speed manual.the veh. does run.I drove it back and fourth to work(23 miles one way). I rebuilt the master cylinder but now seems to be leaking. no brakes. Since owning the veh. i have put a new alternator,starter,battery,door panels,brakes all around,door window seals,headlight,and right side door seal.Interior wise the car needs new dash pad, carpet and glove box storage tray.It has some sony explod speakers but no stereo. All the lights in the dash work,turn signals work,heater works no ac,the speedometer works but does not register the miles,it stopped at 50,400.So it does have more miles than that,around 70,000.The color of the car is a dull orange,it looks like the original color was red but faded.All bumpers are there,i had removed the front and back bumper guards but are included with the car,the car comes with both hard and soft top, the soft top does need a new top. The hard top is missing the little triangle window,i will inclued the new glass window but it needs the mounting trim.also needs a new headliner.NO major dents little ding here and there the car is solid.Motor runs good, i put a new valve cover seal and does not leak.I put a new thermostat.it has an electronic ignition,new heater control valve,plugs and air filter. i have nomore room at my house there fore it has to go.Great car just needs a little tlc.The car is located in La puente,Ca.If you have any questions or would like to see the car, you can call my cell (626-848-7488).Buyer responsible for pickup or delivery.
