You might not ever see another one of these! I'm looking forward to the second happiest day of boat ownership. I spent the better part of this past summer sanding down and painting the trailer. I'm an auto mechanic, so I try to keep everything maintained and looking good. The boat has had everything redone from top to bottom. The trailer is a top of the line solid steel 22ft single axle, with brand new wheel bearings, lights, paint, and easy lift tongue jack. It has three layers of primer and two layers of industrial grade marine paint that should have stopped any rust for awhile, although I can see it starting to make it's way back now. The boat is nice inside and out. I removed the original 60 hp Johnson outboard and replaced it with a lighter weight 40 hp Yamaha Mariner and new Prop. I also installed an Evinrude troller that seems to maintain a steady speed. One thing for certain 5200.00 later and it's no longer junk. I did keep receipts for most of the purchases. It has a brand new 1100 GPH automatic bilge pump that has only seen one outing. Two newer batteries, brand new gas tanks, and a new marine grade sound system with XM radio. It comes loaded down with the Fish finder, Voltage gauge, Horns, three 12v Outlets, and the best of all... both upper and lower engine controls. I got tired of leaning forward all the time, so with this setup you can sit back and relax while driving. All the seating has been redone in white marine vinyl less than 5 months ago. I've had it up to around 45 mph before I decided it was to cold to swim, so she will pull hard if needed. Everything you need to be legal is also brand new thanks to the coast guard. Comes with 5 adult jackets still in the plastic, flares that expire sometime in the next few decades, red and white extinguishers, anchor & chain, removable anchor light, first aid, 2010 decals... etc. Its ready to go as is, just add people.
