This auction is for a 1984 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. This car was one of my Dad's cars. He bought it in 2000. Not sure if he was the second or third owner. He put a lot of money into the car mechanically and then only drove the car periodically. Car has many new items with probably less than 200 miles on them including a new starter, full tune up, new exhaust. Car currently has 186,413 miles on it. The previous owner put in a rebuilt engine about 45,000 miles ago. Car has 4.1 liter V-8 engine. Car has been repainted at some point in the past. It is a cream/ tan exterior with a cream/tan half vinyl roof. It has a brown cloth interior. Tires are in decent shape. Battery is brand new. Car has only been driven a few times a year over the past three years. Car has been sitting outside and is showing signs of being outside. The plastic bumper filler panels in the rear are missing large pieces. The front side filler bumper filler panels are cracked with a small piece missing on pass/side. The vinyl roof is badly cracked. There is some rust spots along the vinyl roof molding. The weather stripping at bottom of the door windows is cracked with sections missing. The steering wheel has some cracks in it. The return fuel line has a 3 foot section that is badly rusted by the rear axle. There is a slow gas leak from this line when car is running, so car cannot be driven too far until this is fixed. Car is fuel injected with a loop type fuel system. Overall car starts right up and runs strong. Trans shifts nice and smooth. Once fuel line is replaced (have $350 estimate), car is a solid driver. Cosmetically the car is in need of some TLC due to above mentioned weathering. Paint does shine up nice and car does not have any dents. I tried to show most points of interest in the photos.
