Hello, Thank you for your quick response and interest in my motorcycle. So I bought the motorcycle 3 years ago from a collector in Monterey who had quite the array of Triumphs. I saw this one and bought it on the spot. It was not running at the time so I took it Bruce at Hollywood Bobbers in San Francisco (you can see his work atwww.hollywoodbobbers.com ). He rebuilt the engine and replaced all of the parts like: Front and Rear shocks, new carbs, all new wiring, replaced chain, added new center stand.... and a whole lot of other original parts. We spent over $1500 in just parts from Rabers in San Jose. Everything was replaced with all Triumph parts from 66. The total bill from Bruce at Hollywood Bobbers was around $6000. I rode it in the city when I lived there but since I have moved to the East Bay, I have not had much of a chance to ride it. The bike rides very well and starts every time. The motorcycle has several features that most bikes lose over time like it still has the original stainless steel fenders, original Lucas Lens, original spark plug covers, wheels and several others. I also have replaced the battery (yesterday) and bought a new original gas cap ($50). I am buying a new home and need a little cash for the downpayment. Let me know if you have any other questions.
