Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1987 GTA Trans Am. This GTA has the L98 5.7 liter TPI engine. The car is absolutely mint in every way. It does not have any scratches, chips, dents or anything else of that nature. The paint is as beautiful as it was the day it rolled off the showroom floor. The interior is the same way. There are no burns, rips, tears or anything of that nature. It has 57264 ORIGINAL miles. It runs and drives like new. The A/C is cold and the heat is warm. All of the lights work as they should and everything with the exception of the exhaust, tires, and battery is original. The alternator as well as the plugs and wires have also been replaced in it's life. In place of the stock exhaust is a Flowmaster American Thunder 3 inch exhaust with the dual stainless steel polished tips. I have also replaced the crack-prone rubber rear spoiler with a Hawk's Fiberglass piece that looks absolutely fantastic! The car sits on the original WS6 wheels wrapped in Goodyear F1 245/50/ZR16 rubber. These are expensive tires that are practically new and still have some of the rubber knobbies on them. The only sore spot is that some of the clear coat has faded on the wheels, but you need to be directly on top of them to notice. I have included pictures of them. I never got around to detailing the engine which should probably be done. I am a 40 year old man and not a person who has abused this car. I also have a 1992 Formula 350 and need to sell one of them and this is the one I chose. The car has never been raced, abused, or beaten on. I am very particular when it comes to my vehicles and I can say this car is most impressive. I have all the original paperwork, order sheet, RPO sticker, manuals and everything else that came with the car when it was purchased. This is a car that has all the right trim with all the right colors ( i.e hood vents painted black, correct Pontiac emblem on headlight door, correct center wheel caps all the little things you find wrong when you go to see an "original car". I have a clean title in my name. I am not willing to trade for anything so please don't ask. If you are not genuinely interested in this vehicle please don't waste your time or mine. If you have "0" feedback you must contact me before bidding or I will cancel the bid. Check my feedback and bid with confidence knowing I am a legitimate seller. If you know these cars then you see the money that some people are asking for them when they are in this type of condition. I would like to sell this car and am not asking a huge amount of money for it. Car is garaged in Fleming Island, Florida, about 25 minutes west of Jacksonville. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country as it runs that well. So if you are thinking of flying in and driving back this is a great option. I would like to have a $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of auction close and the rest payable within 7 days. I can help work out shipping at the buyer's expense if interested in that route. Bottom line is this is a beautiful example of a great car that someone is going to get at a great price. If there are any questions you may have or any additional pictures you would like please ask and I will provide them. Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day! I have been getting a lot of questions regarding the paint. The vehicle has been repainted the original white color by a professional body shop and was quite expensive. The car was disassembled and all pieces were painted off the car and then reassembled for the show quality finish pictures. I apologize if this is a discrepancy to the "all original" statement in the description. There was no rust dents or any damage what so ever.
