Up for auction is this Beautiful Investment Grade 1972 Volkswagen Campmobile. This California classic bus is great for beach camping or just cruisin' around town, and would be easy to finish restoring. Probably the most original 1972 bus you'll find, a great collector car in very good condition. The original upholstery is in fantastic condition, and it has the original sink, ice box, and cabinetry, as well as the children's cot and rear hatch mosquito net. It has new Perrelli tires, new fuel pump, fuel lines, and battery, and the pop-top canvas has been replaced and is still like new. A new pop-top seal kit is included, but not installed. The bus has was recently serviced (carburetor cleaned and rebuilt, replaced intake manifold boots, cleaned idle jet and rejet accel. nozzle, valves adjusted, checked timing and charging system). The bus starts and shifts easily, also brakes and steers just fine. This is a very fun car that always gets a lot of attention and admiration when driving around town! The cable for the horn needs reconnecting and the antenna needs to be replaced. The radio works, but is not the original. Lights and wipers work fine. There is a little minor surface level rust beginning in spots on the front grill and rain gutter, but absolutely No Cancer rust or paint bubbling. I purposely did not repaint this vehicle to sell, so as not to give the appearance that there is something to hide. Though not perfect, this is an exceptional bus in very good condition, ready for a new owner to admire and drive.
