This RX-8 has the optional Grand Touring package, so it comes loaded with comfort and convenience features, and includes a BOSE audio system, power glass sunroof, heated leather seats and more. Performance enhancements include a limited slip differential and a sport-tuned suspension. This is a lifetime Florida car that has not been subject to the road salt and rough conditions of northern roads. It has had just one previous owner. The exterior is in excellent condition. There are no notable dents or dings anywhere, and the paint shines like new all around. The Autocheck report is clean, showing no accident or flood history or any other problems. Exterior features include 18" alloy wheels, fog lamps and the appearance and rotary appearance packages. The interior is also very nice. There are no rips or tears in the leather seats. The carpets, dash and door panels are all in very good shape. Both front seats are heated. This Mazda offers some nice comfort and convenience features: power windows, locks and mirrors; cold air conditioning; BOSE AM/FM/CD stereo with steering wheel controls; HomeLink gate/garage opener; cruise control, tilt wheel and much, much more. Please see the "features" chart near the top of the description. This RX-8 has a 6 speed manual transmission. The 1.3 Rotary motor runs well. Its rated at 238 hp and 159 lb-ft of torque. This car is noticeably more responsive with the 6 speed than with an automatic transmission. Safety features include dual air bags, front side air bags, curtain air bags, DSC and ABS. The power glass sunroof is part of the Grand Touring package. The manual is with the car. This RX-8 has been properly maintained. There is a sizable stack of maintenance records with the car. The trunk is clean and holds more cargo than you would expect. The tire repair kit is with the car, but the compressor is missing (you can often find them on eBay). The tires have very good tread remaining. Autocheck shows accurate mileage. This vehicle may be driven, so it could have a few more miles on it by the time the auction is over. We occasionally buy our cars from new car dealers, and in rare cases the dealer has to make a payoff to a finance company and wait for the title, which could be delayed up to 15 days. As we are located In Florida, we are required to title a vehicle "Exempt" in miles if the car is 10 years or older. The miles listed is the actual reading from the cars odometer. Payment/Fees We will add a $299 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase price with cash in person, with a cashiers or certified check or bank-to-bank wire transfer. These forms are acceptable for the deposit as well, and we will accept Paypal for the deposit only. If you are the winner, a $500 deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. Regarding the Buy It Now option: If this vehicle has a "Buy It Now" option, you must leave a Paypal deposit if you click the Buy It Now. If you wish to purchase the vehicle with a Buy It Now, and do not have a PayPal account, please call so that we can disable this feature. If you are seeking financing, please be sure to hold off on your bid until your funding has been approved. I DO NOT ACCEPT BANK DRAFTS OF ANY KIND. With notice, we are more than happy to pick up our winning bidder at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) Important tax info: If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay Florida's 6% sales tax and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident, and you are are driving the vehicle away from our lot, you will be required to pay your state's sales tax up to 6%. If your state's sales tax is more than 6%, you will be required to pay the difference in your home state. If your state has no sales tax on motor vehicles, we will not charge you any sales tax. If you have the vehicle shipped, we will not charge you any sales tax (however, you will have to pay your state's tax at home). Legal Disclaimer: The parties agree to the following with regard to dispute resolution: Any disputes between the parties must first be addressed by mediation. The mediation must occur in Broward County, Florida. The parties will split the cost of the mediator. The parties must personally appear in Broward County for the mediation. If a party is a corporation, then only the President of the corporation or the corporation's highest ranking officer will satisfy the aforementioned appearance requirement for mediation. Representatives of the parties will not satisfy the aforementioned requirement. The aforementioned mediation is required prior to the initiation of civil litigation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, then the parties agree that only the 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Florida can resolve the dispute. The parties specifically agree that they will be responsible for their own litigation costs and attorney fees for mediation, civil litigation and appeals. The parties recognize that the State of Florida has laws which provide for the shifting of the burden of attorney fees. In the interest of reducing the risk and complexity of litigation caused by those laws, the parties agree to waive any rights they may have to attorney fees under those laws.
