Vehicle Detail
This 1958 MGA roadster is a beautiful car. Everyone that sees it agrees, it gets a ton of looks and waves on the highway! The car is a very honest driver. It is sold on a bill of sale only. We do not operate on title's for vintage cars in Rhode Island. The paint is "good" the interior is "good". The top is brand new. Mechanically the car is perfect. The engine has just been completely rebuilt. There are 60 miles on the rebuilt engine and it makes very strong oil pressure and right temperature. The clutch is excellent and the electronics work as they should. All in all this is a solid, rust free, honest car. It is a tremendous driver, a joy on the highway and on back roads alike. It is quite quick and handles extraordinarily well. I highly recommend any potential buyers come to inspect and drive the car. I have taken photos as honestly as possible, but if there is any other photo angle you would like to see, contact me and I will do my best to accommodate that request. I can be reached on my cell-phone at:401-965-6150. The Small photos can be clicked to enlarge them. This is a no-reserve auction and the car is offered as-is. Full payment is to be received within 7 days of auction close and $500 is due as a deposit in 24 hours. On Dec-17-10 at 19:28:00 PST, seller added the following information: Here are more photos: While I was taking these, I discovered that the inner rockers appear to have been cut out crudely to facilitate the installation of the replacement outer panels. This is visible in a few of these pictures. I tried to photograph everything underneath as fully as possible. I still think the car is quite solid, but this does represent a body issue that, while not critical, would need to be addressed to make the body on the car really "right". That said, the panels that were used fit pretty well and it remains a very presentable driver. Any questions please feel free to call. Thanks!
