2001 toyota MR2 spyder TRD 107,000 miles 1,000 miles since stock 1zz-fe engine rebuild 5sp manual trans convertable. The motor was rebuilt last month because I baught it with a rod knocking. After pulling the motor and tearing it down I found rod bearings where badly worn....so motor was rebuilt with: -king main and rod bearings -oem (aisin) oil pump -oem water pump -toyota timing chain and tensioner -oem (aisin) piston rings -toyota head gasket -ngk v-power racing plugs -new camshaft oil cotrol valve also while doing rbuild: -new tranny output shaft seals -new aisin stage 1 clutch kit -serpentine belt -linkage clips -parking brake cables -clutch fluid flush -tranny flush -coolant flush The car now runs great and smooth with no tranny grinds!
