1992 Dodge Dakota truck. RWD [ 2 wheel drive ] Mileage is 147,8++ will chance daily as we are still driving it. We installed the flat bed at the time we purchased the truck, and this has proven to be the best setup for a working pickup. There are a dozen + under rail tie down points to secure loads. It worked out so well that we purchased a new truck and had an aluminum flat bed installed on it. [ It's the last photo in the group ] We have owned for the last 5+ years, and this truck is extremely well maintained, never wanted of anything. Oil changed every 3000 miles and the engine is dry & leak free. The transmission was redone a year or so back at a cost of over $1500 and works flawless. Just a few of the repair that have been completed over the last few years are, 4 ball joints, new fuel pump, new water pump not a reman & new radiator, new life time muffler. Hoses, belt & tensioner, rear wheel cylinder & brakes. U joints when the transmission was serviced, starter contacts replaced at that time, a new OEM alternator not a reman. This truck has both Pa. state mechanical and emission inspections. Inspection dates are 5-11 There are 4 matching Goodyear Eagle ll tires with 75% tread on the original equipment aluminum wheels. The rear springs have an extra leaf added, there is also rear air shocks for added loads. Equipment include, AM / FM , Power steering, power brakes, power windows, cold A/C, hot heat, tilt wheel, Automatic transmission. Rear trailer hitch & plug. The bed frame is tube steel 2" x 2" and 2" x 3" and in very good condition, with a pressure treated 5/4" wood deck. The side rails, rear fenders and tail light mounting are all aluminum with stainless steel mounting hardware. The truck frame is solid and clean. The interior is clean / smoke free and there is no damage to the dash , carpet or seat. The truck bed length is 8' 4" and is 6' wide. The open sides are great to use as a work platform. And you can more than double what you wish to haul compared to the original bed. We always get a positive comment at the builder / lumber supply when there. There is also a simple quick attach cargo box when you don't need the full open bed. It's included too. The weak point of the truck is the rocker panel on the right side. It is rusted on the outer panel only. We have a new replacement RH panel but just have not been able to get it in the shop to get it installed. It is included with the purchase, if you are handy this should be an easy repair.
