I bought this truck from Florida on eBay about 6 years ago and have put 10,000 on it since then. There are not many of these around with manual transmission. To me a manual transmission is more durable. This has the extra low gear plus 5 forward. I have taken my waterski boat to the lake a couple of times with it, but in the first year I had a 20,000 lb. boat for which I needed a truck this powerful. Never any trouble pulling the boat up a slippery launch ramp. I bought a newer truck and do not need this one any more. I had a Class V hitch installed. Here are the problems the truck has. It has been a great vehicle and really reliable. The left rear outside tire has a slow leak. I had a flat repaired and it was okay, maybe it has come loose. The cupholder on the dash is broken There is an electric brake controller installed, if you have a trailer with electric brakes. The controller has a gremlin in it. It turns on at night by itself, running down the battery, so I have a battery switch under the hood which I leave off. I only use the truck a couple times a month The storage locker is in nice shape but I only have one key. The power door lock does not work. There is a scrape on the left rear fender (lent the truck to a friend) the rear bumper on the left side has a slight impact damage on it. Its hard to see. The prior owner had a CB antenna on the roof and there is a 1/2 " or so hole for antenna There is rust on the running board bars, the photo shows it, and under the truck light rust. I do not think the truck has ever seen snow. kbb.com puts the retail value of this truck at $14,900 and trade in value $12,300. For a diesel it is barely broker in This would be an excellent truck if you have heavy duty towing or work use.
