Up for sale is a restored 1939 Ford pickup truck. This is a later 39 with hydraulic brakes. Truck was restored prior to me owning the truck so I do not have any information on who performed restoration. I was told it was done in the late 80's. Truck has been indoors in my barn for last couple years so there is some dust on it and will need a little work to get running again. Also restoration while real nice was not done as a museum piece. Truck is probably a 7 or 8 out of 10. There are a few scratches that have acquired over the years but no dents. Truck is at a good start if someone wants to take the truck to the next step or would be a good street rod canidate since truck is complete. Personally I don't have the heart the cut the truck up. The last time I tried to get it started for a show (About a year ago) I couldn't get the fuel pump to work, so it likely needs a fuel pump and maybe a water pump and battery to get running again. Truck has original 85HP Flat head V8 with 3 speed on floor, and is also still setup with a 6V system. Because of these problems and the fact that I need to get truck sold I am listing with no reserve for what I feel is half the value of the truck. I also reserve the option to end auction early since truck is listed locally as well. I am located in Central Florida if you want to come look the truck over before bidding. I don't really have any way to ship but will work with you on shipping arrangements or storage needs till you can pick it up. Just work it out with me before you bid.
