I love wagons, Country Squires are my favorite, I purchased this wagon 12 years ago, and drove it for a couple weeks and then parked it, the wagon looked like this when i bought it, Its a 352, 4 BBL, with automatic, and power steering. I believe that the engine is a 1965, the engine runs very well, and the car goes right into gear. This family wagon, does run and move, however does not have brakes, the gas tank is stale, and i have it running on an auxilery tank under the hood. The body is straight and complete, and the only think that is missing, is the horn ring. I have an extra imitation wood rail, for the side thats broken. The frame is very solid, it has a padded dash that is cracked, and the headliner fell down a long time ago, I have all the pieces and the plastic trim that holds it up, all the glass is nice and is tinted, the grill and front bumper and grille is very nice, the quarters have patches pop riveted on from 20 years ago, the front floor on the drivers side has rust through.. The rocker panels are very solid and the doors are in good condition. This car with some work would make a cool rat rod surf woody wagon, as the 1964 seem to have the most imitation wood on the car. Please read all of this carefully, and look at the pictures, this car looks good, but does need a total restoration, its a very worthy project, I would buy it again if I had the time to do something with it. This car is not for sale locally, so bid with confidence that it will not be pulled before the 5 days are up on the auction.
