We are offering our faithful Trooper that has served our family well over the last 10 years of ownership. This would be a great vehicle for an Izusu Trooper enthusiast or mechanic specializing in these vehicles that can do their own work to save money. Or it could be a great source of reusable parts. As can be seen it is high mileage (252,777) , and as such it is showing typical signs of extended use. On the good side: It RUNS and has a current PA state inspection good until 6/2011. The body is in very nice condition with no obvious rust, no serious dents other than at the license plate location that does not affect door operation. The interior is very clean with only a small hole in the driver seat, and was driven for the last 10 years by a non-smoker.Driver's sun visor needs attention. To the best of our knowledge all gauges and controls work including remote adjustable side mirrors. Radio and cassette player work. Transmission works. Four Wheel drive works. Exhaust system is believed to be in good condition. Tires have better than 50% of tread. On the bad side, the following issues will eventually need addressed: Motor- bad head gasket (?), excessive valve clearances (tapping), excessive coolant and oil consumption (head gasket,valve covers?). Steering and suspension- Steering has noticeable play, shocks should be replaced. Climate control- AC works, but heater core leaks and is by-passed.
