You are looking at 1986 Honda TRX200SX. This auction includes all the parts for a complete 4 wheeler. Please read, I will try to describe this as best as I can. I have been an ebay seller and buyer for several years and have a perfect feedback record. If you don't plan to buy, please don't bid. If you have questions, please ask, I will try to respond promptly. This item is for pick up only, I will not ship. So here is the story. I have had a 1986 Honda for the last 12 years. Never had problems with the engine or drive train. But recently I was teaching my son how to drive it and shift gears, and somehow he got it stuck in 3rd gear. I was able to pull start the engine easily, but when driving it I could not get it to shift out of third gear. So I remove the engine and both side covers to look inside. I did not see anything obvious with the shift linkages, but I did not break it down to the tranny gear section. Just after I got this far, a friend of mine sold me another 4 wheeler that was the exact same year and model as mine. So I decided to remove the engine from his and install it in mine. So what I am selling here is the 4 wheeler I got from my friend, and the engine from mine that has the tranny problems. This is a complete machine. You could put it back together and I have confidence it will start right up, but it would still be stuck in third gear. You would probably need the gaskets for the motor covers, as these came apart as I took the covers off. Or, you could repair the problem then reassemble. Or, you could use the parts you want from this to fix a problem with your machine. Or, you could part it out and turn a small profit. As I said above, this is a complete machine. What you see in the pictures is what you get. When it was running, everything functioned fine (except for the tranny problem). It has electric start and reverse, but they do not currently work because the tranny is stuck in third gear. The plastic has been broken and repaired. This seat is decent but has some rips. The tires have decent tread and all hold air fine. Front and rear brakes are working. The gas tank is good. The key switch has been removed and replaced with a pull switch. The kill switch works. The light switches work and the high and low beam works on the light. I think I have include all the information you need to determine what is available here. One more note, I did not get a title with this so it does not come with one. Please ask any question you have before bidding. Thanks for looking. On Nov-28-10 at 14:30:04 PST, seller added the following information: In effort to be as accurate as possible about this item, I need to add the following information I just learned. I stated earlier that all the tires were holding air. But today I noticed one of the front tires is flat. So I aired it up and sprayed it with soapy water. Evidently the rim has a crack in it that someone had attempted to repair. It is leaking from the rim around the repaired area. So this will need to be corrected if you plan to use this front tire and rim. Again, please ask any questions if you have them. On Nov-28-10 at 19:38:44 PST, seller added the following information: Just thought of one other thing, when I was removing the engine, one of the front motor mounting bolts broke. The engine is mounted in two places in the reat, one place on top, and a 4 bolt motor mount on the front side. One of the 4 bolts for the front mounting broke. So if you plan to put this machine back together, you might need to get a new bolt and nut for this. Also, the mounting bracket at the top of the motor is broken as well. It was like that when I got it, and it seemed to be working fine in that condition. Thanks again for looking.
