Up for auction is a beautiful, professionally maintained 2002 BMW 530i 4-door sedan in excellent condition inside, outside and under the hood. VEHICLE HISTORY: I purchased this vehicle on May 1, 2009 from a dealer in Southern California. I flew down and drove it home to Northern California, and within 50 miles I knew that I had just purchased an exceptional BMW 530i. I loved this vehicle so much that I recently bought a newer 530i and now I don't have room in my garage for all my BMW's. My loss can be your gain. Upon arriving home, I immediately turned this vehicle over to my BMW mechanic for a complete inspection and once over. My instructions to him were to go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb and fix anything and everything that is wrong. There was nothing major that was wrong with this car, only a few minor things, and I had them all repaired and replaced. In the 20 months that I owned this car, I only drove it 14,000 miles, and had the oil changed every 3,750 miles. It received two perfect SMOG reports over those same 20 months. My pre-purchase investigation indicated that sometimes people experience problems with the automatic transmissions in the E39 5-series. Although there was absolutely nothing wrong with the transmission in this vehicle, I was concerned regarding BMW's factory recommendations that the transmission was a "no service required" item. So, I had my mechanical remove the bottom pan and replace the gasket, filter and fluid with BMW recommended synthetic transmission fluid. I'm pleased to report that the vehicle continues to be completely trouble free in the transmission department. I recently returned to my BMW specialist and had a full inspection of the vehicle prior to listing it for sale on eBay. Once again, only a few minor problems were identified and repaired or replaced. I recently put a new battery in the vehicle as well. This vehicle is in perfect mechanical condition and should give it's new owner many years of enthusiastic driving. I was was able to obtain from BMW of Irvine, CA, the complete vehicle maintenance history prior to my purchase. Again, only routine maintenance issues were ever addressed and there was never any issues outside the realm of regular maintenance. I have a complete CarFax Report available. The auto dimming feature of the rear view mirror does not always work properly, and you must sometimes manually adjust your rear view mirror. Otherwise, everything about this vehicle is exemplary. With the Steptronic feature you can also manually shift the gears as needed. Power Steering. Power Brakes, 4 wheel disk with ABS. High Intensity Xenon Headlights. Air Conditioning (blows cold). For an extra four miles per day of mileage, you get a car that has been routinely and professionally maintained since the day it was driven off the lot of BMW of Irvine, CA. You will probably find the same vehicle with less miles here on eBay. It will certainly cost you more, and you probably won't receive the complete package of maintenance records with that other vehicle. ABOUT THE TIRES AND WHEELS: The pictures show the vehicle with its summer tires and wheel package. The vehicle is now equipped with its winter tires and wheel package. There is only one way you can receive the summer tires and wheels in addition to the winter tires and wheels.
