Vehicle Detail
1969 Firebird 400 Up for sale is a nice original 1969 Firebird400 that was sold new in California where it remained until I bought it from the previous owner’s family last year. The car has approximately 82,000 original miles on the numbers matching 400 V-8 with the original 4-V carb pushing out 330 hp. The car was originally Matador Red but was repainted Black several years ago but still shines up very well and the original white (parchment) interior is in good condition with the exception of some wear on the drivers seat but dash, gauges, etc. are good as well as no cracks in dash pad or steering wheel. The underside of this car is rock solid with no rust issues whatsoever. There are a few small bubbles in the paint but looks very nice overall. The car has the factory 150 mph Speedo, power steering, power disc brakes and 400 turbo automatic transmission. It is an A/C car but compressor was removed. The rear axle is a Safety-Track unit. The car runs and drives very well and you can fly in and drive it home if you like. I have a clear GA title and a copy of the CA title signed off from the previous owner with only 81,938 original miles documented at the time I purchased it. I’ve added only a few hundred since. The car has never sat outside and is a real nice survivor. There are no rust holes or patches of bondo on this car. The original radio has been replaced with a CD player but other than that the inside is original. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early at any time prior to reserve being met. Selling car as is where is. Pick up is expected within three weeks of auction end unless previously agreed to or circumstances beyond the buyer’s control arise. I'll be happy to discuss negative feedback from almost a year ago. I believe I can explain this to anyone's satisfaction.
