1988 VW Cabrio.I purchased this car from a Friend that went to the army.she drove it daily.until she left.I bought it to help her out.The car doesnt appear to have any rust.the grill is broken.i used zip strips to hold it together.the engine does run.a liittle rough.like it needs a tune up.the shifting is a liitle loose.like the linkage is worn.the clutch seems solid.it doesnt smoke or knock.all windows work normal.convertible top is worn but works.all lights appear to work.blower also.No radio.has new muffler.No A/C.and i dont believe power steering is hooked up.i did drive the car approx 5 miles.once you get it going it pulls it self down the road pretty good actually.This car is not NEW by any means.I do have a low reserve.just trying to get what i paid for it or close.would be a cool little car for someone.probably good on gas.does need a little TLC or could be a good project car.
