Vehicle Detail

I have a gorgeous 1972 GMC Custom Camper that I built for myself a lot of years ago. I designed the leather interior. There are no patch panels in it and the underside is incredibly solid. It has a 350 engine and tranny. There are no leaks. Drives arrow straight. JVC stereo (cd, MP3 and ipod) and Rockford Fosgate amp and speakers. I guarantee it's as loud and clear as you could ever expect. Rims are 20" (takes up most of wheel well without rubbing) and tires are all-weather and meaty 10 ply. Engine doesn't smoke at all. Has tach and tilt. Grant steering wheel is 14" and wheels turn with 1 finger. The wood in the bed is all original and very solid so I never replaced it. Still doesn't need replacing after 38 years. There's no rust in the cab corners, rockers, floor or anywhere else. Door panels, original console, bucket seats (original Chevy), sun visors, dash pad and center console are all wrapped in genuine tan leather. This truck smells brand new. You can drive it anywhere. Certainly mechanically sound. I cut no corners with it over its lifetime. I'm only selling it to make room for 2 more toys I've ordered. I'm sure there will be questions and I will answer and post them. OH! Yes, the air conditioning works! Auction ends Monday nightOn Nov-25-10 at 07:42:28 PST, seller added the following information: I've received numerous questions about the GMC that I'd like to answer all at once: as for the engine, tranny and exhaust and everything associated with them.....there are no leaks. Yes, I have the original ash tray for the center console (no, I won't sell it separately), tailgate is original, doors stay open on their own when you need them to, the window cranks open without strife, no rust in the fenders, cab, core suppot, bed, inner or outer rockers, battery tray or anywhere else you can think of. I will be adding pictures of the underside. Rims are made by Pinnacle and tires have more than 1/2 inch of tread on them. Don't know the gear ratio of the rear end but it cruises at 65 without winding out. This truck is the epitomy of class. I wouldn't sell you garbage and I certainly wouldn't make room for it on my property if it was. Seems to be concern about that speaker between the seats....well, that speaker is not amplified, doesn't obstruct the view of the driver from traffic or even the from seeing the passenger during conversation. It's just high enough to cover the carpeted gas tank. My design. The stereo was was measured at 717 decibals and you wouldn't even know that middle speaker was on unless you looked at it. I install stereos for clarity, not volume. Volume is just a bonus. The tail lights are different from stock....they are LED's. If you have more questions, just ask.On Nov-25-10 at 07:53:58 PST, seller added the following information: Yes, the lights on the doorr panels do illuminate when th door is opened. On Nov-26-10 at 07:03:06 PST, seller added the following information: This truck is a 3/4 ton. Yes, I can hold it indoors until Christmas.....provided it's paid for.
