It has always been in the hands of a Maserati person , a collector or driver of multiple and rare Maseratis . The interior is in exceptionally fine condition . For sure the best example out there for sale as an original 4 door Maserati for sale in 1984.This is the third generation of the Quattroporte model. This is the last year they made this model until they made it again in 2004. Those Quattroporte 4 door models go for about $35,000 used. This is a really super deal for an exotic Racecar that happens to have 4 doors. THIS IS THE SAME EXACT MODEL MASERATI USED IN THE ROCKY BALBOA MOVIE. A TRUE CALIFORNIA CAR. The leather color is near perfect , and the driver seat has been replaced with new leather. the leather condition is supple and strong . This is a very rare occurance in these QP3s . The entire car has brand new carpets installed by a professional shop at a cost of $2000.LOOK at the photos. The trunk carpets have also all been replaced. The inside headliner is brand new . Done in a suede material to match color of the suede in the dash board.(see photos) The engine and the engine bay were completely gone through , cleaned , tuned , new belts , hoses ,and where needed fuel lines , filters , clamps etc. The front suspension was dismantled , rebuilt and aligned , the shocks were just replaced with original OEM shocks .There are 6 shocks in this car. See the photos . The rear end assembly was removed, cleaned , serviced and re-installed , the rear shocks were also replaced with the same upgrades . All bushings are in excellent condition , the brakes have rotors cleaned and calipers were re-set and bled . The tires are near very near new . The A/C compressor and system works great. Ice cold air. The glass is all in very fine condition . All the windows work , the 6 way power seats work . Radio is a Sony CD in dash. All gauges work . The original clock works. All systems are working well. No leaks in the oil or the cooling system. Transmission shifts well , smoothly . The engine starts right up and idles beautifully . There is No smoke from the engine , it burns CLEAN .The choke works perfectly . Power steering works perfectly . This car mostly sits and that is a shame . We are selling it because I am an older gentleman and have too many cars to drive. I hate to part with it . It is a real beauty , it sits perfectly and blows people away when they see it . The car still has that crispness to it . All door handles work as does the autolock system . Please understand that these cars always need attention and that this car is not perfect , they all have flaws and problems but this one is at the very front of the pack of what you will find out there , the top 1% .One small blister on the paint is below diver side mirror. The car was originally Burgundy and it was painted Black. Even the door jambs and inside the hood are black when you open the doors The car was repainted apprx. 5 years ago and the paint is very nice and holding up fine . Any reflective glare from the photos are exactly that, Glare and not defects in the paint or interior. I have a good friend who can supply any ongoing parts and restoration materials for these and other Maseratis . *** THIS CAR IS READY TO DRIVE. I HAVE ALREADY FIXED OR UPGRADED EVERYTHING.
