Vehicle Detail
Here is a very nice 1973 CL350! If you have been looking for one of these classic CL's or CB's, look no further! You probably know that most of the bikes out there are nowhere near this clean! I bought this bike earlier this year. This was my first motorcycle. I figured it would be a great sized bike to learn on and get my feet wet. Well, it has served me wonderfully in that regard, and I'm now ready to upgrade to a larger bike. I wish I had room for two bikes, but I do not, otherwise I would keep it. I am not the original owner, so I can't give you a 100% breakdown of the bike's history. I can tell you that since I've owned it, it has never been dropped, crashed, bumped into anything, etc. I have taken great care of it, and it's always been garaged. I have a clear title in hand, and valid CA tags paid up until June 2011. Here are the details - whenever you ask someone if they'd like the good news first, or the bad news first, they usually say, "The bad," so, we'll start with the bad: The "Tripometer" portion of the Odometer (the thing you push the button in to reset the trip to 0000) does not work. The light that illuminates the Tachometer is either out, or does not work. I think it did work when I first got the bike, so maybe the bulb is just out, not sure. I don't believe the seat is the original seat (or it was recovered at some point), BUT, it's a very comfy seat and I think it's great. The brake and clutch cable jackets are old and worn. The actual cables themselves seem fine. The hand grips are a bit worn, but should be easy to replace if you want to. There is some rust on the exhaust pipe toward the rear of the bike, under the seat. There is a small dent on the lower-right side of the gas tank. There is a scratch on the left side of the gas tank. Also, on that side, it looks like something hit the "H" in the HONDA logo. I don't know if these blemishes are related. Now, the GOOD: The previous owner had two new tires put on, so, those are virtually new. Two new rear view mirrors. New battery, fires right up with the electric start. All lights (other than the Tach light I mentioned above) work fine - Turn signals, brake light, headlight (low and high beam), Neutral indicator, Turn indicator. Bike runs strong, shifts through all gears fine (1 down, 4 up in case you were wondering). Brakes work great, no squeaking, and stops very nicely. Locking seat mechanism works fine. You can hang two helmets on hooks located under the seat. Blue and White paint scheme...the best paint scheme IMO. This bike gets a lot of attention when I'm out and about! Please check out all of the photos here: http://s276.photobucket.com/albums/kk6/mtgarrett/HONDA%20CL350/ I also shot a quick video of the bike, so check that out as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGbHf8ReyLQ Bike is being sold AS IS! NO RETURNS/REFUNDS! You are buying a motorcycle that is almost 40 years old, so please keep that in mind! Ask any questions you may have BEFORE placing your bid. I will do my very best to answer all questions, and provide more pictures/video if you like - just ASK! If you would like to come by and see the bike, no problem just let me know. Shipping - If you are not local, I will work with you and the shipping company you choose in facilitating the pickup of the bike. But, stuff like getting shipping quotes (from my residence, zip code 91206), and hiring the shipping company is your responsibility. Thanks for looking, and again, if you need any questions answered just ask! Sorry...I have lowered the reserve as a result of my mistake.
