Up for bid is a 1939 Ford 2-Door Deluxe Sedan. It is a street rod project that was done right but needs to be finished. Here is the story:Purchased around 1990 for $10,000. Originally a Nevada car (No Rust). Owner disassembled, and purchased NEW CHASSIS. This cost approx $6,000. All receipts are available. He put the body on the new chassis which also has disc brakes. The car was put in primer, interior removed. He bought a new 350 Chevy short block with aluminum heads, and intake. Also stainless steel headers. It has a new 350 3-speed automatic trans. It has a Ford 9" rear end.New Hi Perf Radiator. Most trim is available and some of it was purchased new. Wheels were blasted and painted and have nice Ford hubcaps. Engine will turn over by hand. It cost $2,900. It is missing/needs: Carb, Torque converter, front seats, door panels, front core support, The owner is the widow of the man who was building this.
