Vehicle Detail

1983 Porsche 944 NADA—AVG $5900—HIGH $7100 First year collectible, NASA 944 Porsche, 1983 was the first year the 944 was introduced to North America and this is a stunning, original, example of fine Porsche engineering. This car was also previously owned by a Porsche Club of America member. Everything is meticulously stock. Car was built in May of 1983 and was purchased July 6, 1983 from Mayo Motors Inc. in South Hampton, NY. A stack of receipts for work completed as well as the original Warranty and maintenance log with the VIN sticker and stamps of maintenance works comes with purchase. All paperwork and manuals will be provided to the winning bidder. I am selling an Alpine White 1983 Porsche 944. The car was being restored by my late husband. I have the clear title in hand so it is not an issue to sign it over. All parts are OEM and were installed by professionals. What I do know about the car. The timing belt is gone but the motor is strong and purrs like a kitten! The interior is a descent but the driver’s seat is ripped. The paint is original factory paint and there are paint chips in the front but no rust anywhere. Also the front nose panel has a small dent. I have a brand new front spoiler to replace the cracked one. The sunroof is huge and driving with it out is close to being in a convertible! The car has no power steering but I it makes it more fun to drive! A/C and heat work perfectly. Although it has duo plugs, you need to provide a stereo. Like I said the motor is very strong and there are NO leaks of any kind and everything else works to the best of my knowledge. I am located 5 miles outside of Augusta GA and you would be responsible for picking up or shipping the car, and you are free to look at it if you are local. You're viewing a Porsche 944 as it was originally conceived by the Stuttgart, Germany-based luxury vehicle manufacturer. The 944 is the company's most successful model to date. Despite its age, this particular 944 is in excellent condition. The exterior has no rust and only very minimal body damage after 28 years on the road.
