Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a 1969 Firebird. this car was originally equipped with a 350 c.i.d. engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The car is complete except for the engine which has been replaced with a 350 out of a 1973 Pontiac. This car, although not rare, is somewhat interesting in that it is a factory two-tone painted and a 4 speed vehicle, something that was not very common. I have the original build sheet as well as PHS documentation with this car and it was originally equipped with, and still retains: - Cameo white over Burgundt two-tone paint, 4 speed manual transmission, A/M radio, P/S, stainless steel door edge guards, Rally wheels, tinted windshield, bucket seats w/headrests, space-saver spare. I have included with this car the following new parts: gas tank and sending unit, front fender patch panels, factory type "spiral" shock absorbers. I also have a period correct 350c.i.d. from a 1969 Firebird that was rebuilt and has about 11,000 miles on it. The engine is on a stand and the stand is included too. This car has had both quarter panels, trunk drop-offs and trunk pan replaced. The doors and floors, radiator support, trunk lid and hood are solid. The front fenders need to be patched and the patches are included in the sale. There is also a little rust/rot around the front and rear windshields and the passenger side wheel well needs a patch. Although the engine runs, this car is not running. To make this car driveable you will need to: install rear brake lines, exhaust from the "Y" pipe back, fuel line and tank (included) and swap the monoleaf rear springs for multileaf springs. The interior is in very nice shape for its age. The seats are not torn up and the carpet is not ragged but the headliner has split seams This would be an easy winter project that could be made streetable in a weekend. Drive it. Clone it into a Trans Am. Restore to original. You decide.
