This 1987 Suzuki Samurai will take you where you want to go on road or off! It is extremely clean and shows pride of ownership thruout. The gentleman in Idaho Falls Idaho that I purchased this "Sammy" from improved the car with a Weber carburator, new clutch and seat covers. When he purchased the car it had no back seat so he installed a school bus seat with a seat belt which has a higher back than the stock one and is more comfortable. The Samurai has been fully serviced by my mechanic and it runs great! We did a full inspection, lube/oil/filter, replaced the mufffler and tailpipe, replaced the oil pan gasket and valve cover gaskets that were leaking, repacked the wheel bearings, adjusted the carb and fixed a vacume leak. I have driven the Samurai over Teton Pass from my home in Jackson, Wyoming to my store in Driggs, Idaho. It scoots up the 5 mile, 10% grade to 9600 feet in 3rd gear at 40 miles per hour and will cruise at 70 miles per hour. Gas mileage is over 30 mpg. At this time the mileage shows 62583 but in our state of Idaho, it will be sold as "miles exempt" due to the vehicle being over 10 years of age. The fiberglass top has a removeable front "targa section". A roll bar is installed behind the front seats. The radio and tape player are from a Ford pickup and works well. The tires are in very good shape. The original front seats could be recovered but the seat covers are very nice looking and comfortable. The paint is in very nice shape and shiny with the exception of some clear coat peeling on the very front.(See photo) The body and underside are rust free.
